It is no secret that French gastronomy is one of the finest and most appetizing in the world. A freshly baked croissant for breakfast, a homemade traditional dish for lunch, red wine and local cheese for the evening. It is definitely NOT a secret that French gastronomy is magical and dreamy. And you know what? This type of food is always a good idea. You would not want to miss an apéro (short for apéritif, appetizer). Not only will you drink fine wine and eat savoury cheese; but, you will also experience a sense of sociability, conversation, and relaxation. You will even get a taste of some parts of French culture.

In the same region of Burgundy, we find the iconic dish of escargots de bourgogne. It is often accompanied with bread.
